Looking for a family, portrait, travel or brand photographer (working in French and English) in Brussels, Paris or Stockholm?
And here comes the second cheating post: again taken in Copenhagen late August and the last time I took a shot of Eliott with my big camera… It’s been two months and it’s very sad, my brain has difficulties to take it so I’m glad I have these pictures to look at!
Ok that’s when the cheating is starting… because if you know that my son is in Montreal, you know it’s not really possible that I took portraits in September with him! However, I took several sessions in August and I’ll distill them over the fall until I meet my son again :)
August portraits were taken near the house as well but as a favourite late summer thing, it was in wheat field before they are harvested, the light is always gorgeous there!
July in the Swedish summer house means trying to do the same portraits as last year but different style!
Month of June, full of flowers and last times… summer flourishing and Eliott ending high school! lots of high and lows and highs and all….
Yes, it was time for the peonies portraits again! I have done those since 2019 and I’m just first going to do a recap before I post the outtakes:
Quick portraits in the end of April to try to catch the end of the clematis… it hasn’t been fully covered this year anyway but it was more than that just a week before that. Planning was as it was, we couldn’t make it happen earlier so here it is :-)
Little photo shoot in Paris when we were there in March to celebrate my step mum’s 70th birthday! I have to be quick these days, not many occasions to capture those two together, I can feel this project coming to an end (snif)… and for those who say that they don’t like them with grumpy faces, let me tell you this: it’s their usual teen face so either you don’t have teens or you just don’t get them …
Random images taken in the summer house in February. The one above in our living room and the one belowbis with my favourite wall paper :)
I didn’t know if I was going to do portraits this year but as Eliott is still at home, I thought , why not until I can’t… I recreated a portrait I’m particularly found of, that I took in 2017 in my mum’s flat in Paris… See below for the ones I took 6 years ago!
November portraits were taken in the pine forest by our house in Sweden and I’m not sad about it ! (and they are posted in November which means only one thing: I caught up!!)
For this portrait session I recreated a portrait I did two years ago, I think it’s quite fun to see the evolution, don’t you?
Well, Let’s just be straight up honest here… this was not taken in September! I don’t know why but we didn’t manage and it’s the second time this year. I don’t know where we are going with these monthly portraits but there will be changes. Meanwhile I decided to make a video portrait again (this time not too small but if you want it with music, check out instagram!):
So for this month portrait project, I decided to do the portrait in the form of a little movie! because I’m learning how to use a new editing software for it, you can see more little movies on reels on insta and also I’ll share them here too :
Here are bits and pieces of our summer holidays. Completely random pictures to be honest and I’ll add a little movie taken from around the house :-)
Soooooo here is the truth about the June portraits: there was none… yes , there, I said it. June was a month of exams for the both of them and it was hard and then they left. Both on holidays and us in Brussels.
The May portraits have been now a little traditionally a peony portrait, but this year, I changed the colours slightly and also the light was too strong in Eliott’s bedroom so we changed place for him too :) but check out the previous years:
n between too many photos to edit, here is a little photos dump of a short but great weekend in Brétignolles, Vendée to see my family :
