Filter vs no filter

July 3, 2015

flowers for midsummer

As I have stated in my presentation, I love colours and I think it is ok to saturate a bit my pictures to make them look bright and joyful. But I had a look at my old tumblr on a new screen and wow: it's a little too much even if I want to have a look at life in kodacolor... In the class I am attending on wordpress blogging with the great teacher Steve Mepsted, a class mate made the opposite statement: she wants to have photos without filter, saturation etc. Just the pure beauty and truth of the moment. While I find this statement beautiful, I also think that photos are not taken with my eyes in real life, but with a camera and therefore twisted in any case. So why not a little bit of jiggling? Here are a picture I had taken for Instagram and edited:So what do you think?[polldaddy poll=8962755]
