Eliott and Lily: Half hidden faces portraits
Another delayed portraits post. Last portraits post was three weeks late. Now it's more than a month...It's getting harder but it might be because I take too many photos! But also being 11 and 14, my kids are not as available in the weekends as they used to be. I think next year I might change the concept and do one single portraits of them both together. What do you think?
With Eliott this month, we went to a friend/colleague's garden as he told me out of blue: " Hey Karen, you like gardens and roses, do you want the key of my very wild garden for the week-end?" And of course I couldn't resist. Plus, Eliott was also totally in, so what else?
He chose his own look and I must say, I loved it! He even picked an old one we like t-shirt that I had almost forgotten:
We made use of most of that crazy garden space. The light was pretty bad in fact, but we had lots of fun:
And caught the last glimpses of roses:
And played a bit differently this time with hands too:
I didn't have much time with Lily but we had something planned that I will reveal later. And this enabled me to take some sneaky portraits for September too:
And then this flower appeared, and we made magic!
So I couldn't stop myself! So many outtakes, I don't even know how to deal with it!
I didn't realise she had a bit of eczema but I'm still keeping those here, I love them all!
And of course as usual, many many outtakes. I had so many more I love but couldn't overload this post too much either.
As you can imagine, I'm already late with the October ones. Stay tuned my friends. I'll try to make up for it in December!
