Here is another work I did for Nicephore school of Photography that I'm quite happy with. Only seven photos to give back so it was a very very hard selection as I experimented a lot! (this one above wasn't even in the ones I gave back! Let me tell you more about it here:

The aim of this exercise is to work with taking pictures against the light (contre-jour) and in black and white. In normal circumstances, the aim is to capture really cool shadow and brims of light in street photography. But with the current circumstances, we were exceptionally allowed to do it in home.

The theme I chose in the end was glass and flowers. I really loved the series I took with that old ikea curtain that I never used. But I experimented so much more before that! Let me first show you the pictures I gave back:

But I was almost going to give back all of those to my teacher:

You know what I mean? Choosing seven was a little bit of a torture. On the other hand, if you know me, you know choice is always some kind of a brain teaser for me.
And the series with the curtain felt more united than the random glasses and lemon slice. I really also experimented with sheets as curtains (we don't have curtains in our home, these are all pinned on the walls and bay windows:

And some more outtakes:

I will soon show you the last exercise I had to do for Nicéphore, a little magical cloud story not black and white this time... and then the May portraits :) stay tuned!
