I had the chance to recently capture my friend Fanny's lovely pregnant belly. She is my kids former babysitter! Doesn't make me feel old at all ...But she is also an amazing textile prints maker. And now mother to Nina whom I'm hoping to photograph soon. We had a lovely session that I want to share with you. Fanny was 37 (almost 38) weeks pregnant when I took these shot. She is beautiful and easy to shoot but very shy too. I think I managed to make her feel a bit easier little by little. Not too much pressure but with some direction:She has a very cute apartment, with great lights in it. It made me want to try different things. Some wouldn't like the different white balances (you know when a picture looks more blue or more warm) but I find it nice:She also has a very very cute dog named Maggie who tried to steal the show many times:We also went outside to the park. The light was beautiful and Fanny just fitted so well there with her flowery dress (and some flowers I gave her too!):And last but not least, I asked her to come the next day to my place so we could take advantage one last time of my clematis just like in my April kids portraits:I'm sure by now you are used to it, but yes, there are some outtakes too :I have so many more.
