Maybe you have, maybe you haven't realised: I missed the month of June portraits. Yep. First time in three years I haven't actually had time to take pictures. But I wasn't late, I wasn't still editing... I simply had no time! So to make up for it, I will take double portraits dose in July :)
I had the chance to go to my mum's place in Burgundy (in Morvan) for a very short time (so short and yet, our car had time to breakdown, is still there, but long enough to be able to have a shooting with Lily and another quick one with Eliott).
We went first to those hay balls, because it's been my obsession for a couple of years (remember these?) In that post you can see pics from a wheat field. I also took pics last year there and of course, even if it wasn't golden hour at all, we had to do it for the third year in a row!
The light was quite strong but we did some pretty cool things anyway:
And the day after we found some blue door . So I think we pretty much rocked that portraits session!
I had an even shorter window of opportunity with Eliott. He had just been in music camp and we got back late. We had basically a couple of hours in the morning before heading back to Brussels. Then, he woke up late and only had an un-ironed t-shirt... but that's my son, in his full teen mode!
And it was almost noon, do you know that's kind of the worst time to shoot, right?
Thank god for trees and shadows, you can pretty much pull up anything, right? Well, I think so at least.

So maybe that was a little too much. But it was to make up for the lost time!
