Just a little round up of the best of 2018. I did it last year and it was fun to see the evolution of my photography and what I had done during the year. I realise that this year has been quite active on the blog. So here we go again for an overview:
January 2018
kids portrait once a month
I started with the monthly portraits. This year they decided to do it separately instead of together, so I obliged! I also talked to you about my blue door obsession which actually seem to have faded over that year!
I also share a recipe of a French king's cake (with chocolate and pears) that I definitely intend to make again this comes the time to do it:
February 2018
In February, I took the monthly portraits while we were skiing in Sweden for the first time (not first time skiing, but first time in the swedish mountains in case you didn't know they have some! And I also did my first bath flowers portraits with Lily. I should try again in 2019 I think!
March 2018
I shared a vegan blueberry cupcake recipe. A food styling that to this day, I'm still very proud of!

And I published the march portraits a bit late so it appeared only in April on the blog, but for the sake of this recap, let's say I managed on time.
April 2018
As I decided to share more recipes and DIY this year, especially seasonally, I posted again about crafts and ideas on what to do during Easter.Natural Egg dyeing and egg hunts were definitely in order!
I had another nice collaboration with my friend's brand One we Like and used a lot of flowers for it

And I tried to have my last of a series on our stay in Morvan, the winter edition, but no one was fooled, it was still a bit too much like spring!

May 2018
Spring was finally there and I share some monthly portraits that actually almost looked like summer! I also did my first collaboration with Wildling shoes, a cool sustainable brand for kids and adults too!
June 2018
I was again a bit late for the monthly portraits! It was taken in May in Sweden when we celebrated Lily's birthday but only shared in June...
Finally, I had my first maternity shoot and published it. I really felt like a grown up doing it.

July 2018
July was generally a little pause in my creativity. I had just had draught and needed some space to think and rest. But I did post the monthly portrait of my kids I took in June and it actually boosted what had been an otherwise quite weird period.
August 2018
Summer holidays are definitely my favourite and the portraits of those month are some of my favourite for the year. I took the opportunity to show a bit of our holidays in France ( Burgundy) and Sweden (Γsterlen) in that post too! but they were taken in July, I was late again for those.
As I love seasonal posts and styling, I tried some summer cocktails that were really nice (and made me win a little price on a concours organised by Whalar on instagram with #objectproject_cocktails)

September 2018
As I thought that the portraits wasn't enough to show you our stay in Γsterlen, I made a full blog post out of it! Giving you the tips I received from the kind people around me and on instagram.
The same day I published the portraits of my kids for August, not being able to catch up with my delay!
And I had another great collaboration with One we like on their AW2018 collection:

October 2018
Autumn was starting, and a seasonal recipe was again in order! Apple and pear vegan tarts recipes were feeling pretty to the point
Also posted the September monthly portraits late again. A little Alice in Wonderland theme as we prepared something for my dad's 70th birthday party which included those costumes:
I did my first family (mother and baby) shoot. Really building my portfolio and growing was one of my year's goal and it worked!
And finally managed to catch up and posted the October portraits on time!

November 2018
It seems I like to start the month with a recipe. A seasonal one preferably, so here is a simple winter salad that the styling I really loved to do:

And I was finally able to share the amazing experience that was my workshop in Paros in September, if you haven't read that post, please jump in. It was one of my favourite of the year!
The November portraits of my kids were also the last of the four season chapter of our visits to one of my favourite place near Stockholm: Artipelag in the autumn!
December 2018

I started the month with a post on how my photography school really makes me go outside my comfort zone and shared the kind of pictures I take but never share here! But then I wanted to wrap the year with some useful seasonal tips. One post about how to make an easy wreath wall:
And since I'm also wanting to share more ecological recipes and DIY, I also shared how to do beautiful fabric wrappings ahead of Christmas, but this is valid all year round of course!
I ended with the last portrait of the kids for the year (and I'm happy to report they agreed to continue next year). They also agreed to do it together in memories of the series we did in 2017
So what would you like to see more of on my blog in 2019?
Aside from the kids portraits of course which for this year will be also individual portraits but they promised to participate more in the idea process. If you have any proposals on that front too, we are all ears!
I'm also intending to try to have some photo tutorials but still thinking on the format. I will also share my family photography work more this year!
Let me know in a comment, old fashion style, what you would like to see more of!
