I had to do it, right? One of the monthly portraits this year had to be representative of this (crappy) year. Going back to school in September meant that they had to be wearing masks. And they did. I’m proud of them because I wouldn’t be able to wear a mask all day like this and I’m very lucky to have been able to telework for months now. We tried to make all the faces with masks representing diverse emotions (let’s see if that has worked). But we also took some pictures without the masks…:

I think you can convey quite a lot with eyes, don’t you think? But it’s probably better without the mask
There is not much more to say on this, except that I took the pictures in September hoping that it wouldn’t last too long like this and now writing this post in November, I can imagine that unfortunately that situation will last much longer… Let’s hope their brains get oxygenated enough despite wearing the mask all the time…
