I have been meaning to make a post about the last part of our holidays a long time ago. But life got in the way. We moved, school began and I started work again. I guess these are just excuses but I find it more difficult to find time for the blog. And for taking pictures. I hope it comes back! So, we went to Sweden after France. Here is a little summary of our two weeks there:
Boy with boat
österlen boy boat
Sweden österlen beaches
Sweden Kivik Boy
Sweden Storholmen
Sweden storholmen
We spent some time in Malmö, you could already see that here. From there, we decided to go and visit Österlen for the day. We are considering maybe maybe buying a summer house there! I had mentioned it in a post in the very early days of this blog. We had a really nice lunch with our friend Jocke in Kivik. Famous for it's apple juices among other things. And then we went to the sea. The beaches are so beautiful in Österlen. I know there are really a lot of cool places to go to there like an organic garden and vegetable farm. We ended the day by a visit to the chocolate factory.I really love it there even in grey and moody weatherWe then rented a house in Storholmen, which is close to where we lived last year (Lidingö) near Stockholm. It was practical for Pelle to be able to go to work (by boat!) while we could still enjoy some holiday times! And that was the view from the house when we arrived:The house we rented was tiny but all the rooms has that view , including a sauna. And the children could go for a dip first thing in the morning:Such a pretty really tiny Island. Not much to do on it but for a few days, it was perfect. You can take a boat to the city. But beware: there is no supermarket there and only one restaurant only open in summer time. And one cute little beach. This is the island I did part of the the shoot for One we like .There isn't much green to walk on as it's packed with houses and gardens but it's very pretty anyways:Sweden is such an amazing place to travel in during spring and summer. If you ever need any tips, don't hesitate to ask me. Can't wait to go back!
