I have already talked about Morvan and my mum's place on this blog: here, here and here. And also here actually. Every time it was about Morvan during the Easter time. So I thought it would be nice to do a post about it during the summer. This place is a very seasonal area. In the sense that you really feel every seasons. If you check the previous posts, I have taken a picture of this view during Easter and you can see the differences. The flowers, the light... Let me take you there again during summer time:

As I explained in my previous posts, Morvan is the less glamorous part of Burgundy. However, it's beautiful. And perfect for those who like remote and nice nature. Yet, it's only one hour and something to the famous wine region. We actually went to Beaune to pick up Eliott who was in a music camp for a week. It's such a beautiful wine town. A lot to see if you check the link. And we found some blue doors!:(lovely dress by One we like)If you want things to do in Morvan, think long walks. Small mountain walks. In fact, it's a regional protected parc and there is much to feed your eyes. You can also visit castles and ancient ruins. I talked about bibracte in my previous post for instance. But you also have lakes such the Lac des Settons which feels a bit like a mountain lake:I had several photos project obsessions this summer: one of them was wheat field in a nice summer light. And the other one was hay bales. I had the chance to do them both in Morvan:And the bales of course. I posted some on Instagram but here are some others. Didn't turn out as I wanted to, so I'm afraid obsession will last until next year:I haven't given up though! And found a really good blue door at the end of that field so all wasn't lost:I also like taking the same pics every season, so if you go on the previous posts, you can maybe spot them out:But what I like the most is our usual hikes behind my mum's place. I would want to do it every single time. The flowers and the picking up blackberries were definitely the highlights this time around. With a bit of rain and a rainbow to top it off (be ready for a million pics): We took refuge under the trees when it poured but then this rainbow showed up:I even spotted a blue door again and we made a little bouquet:You can see my mum's house in the middle of this picture. I love going there. I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what you would like to see next! Meanwhile, I can already let you know there will be a third part!
