We went back to Morvan last Easter just like the one before. I have already shown you the Easter/Egg hunt part here. I thought it would be funny to do a winter post about the region as I did one on Easter/spring, Summer and Autumn. But we didn't go last winter. Or so I thought. Because Easter there this year was very much how I imagine it can be in December! Check it out and you will see what I mean:
Winter Easter Morvan
So it's a tiny bit green but apart from that? The trees are still bare and the temperatures were quite low. Ok, maybe there were a bit of flowers coming up but very little compared to last year:There were almost no sunshine days and we did take the most of the non rainy time outside. But in fairness, Lily was able to use her jean jacket a few times which means it wasn't really winter winter. If you look at this picture which I take every time I go there, you will definitely see a difference though! The day we did the egg hunt, we had definitely the peak of our stay in terms of weather. But compared to the blossoms of last year, nothing was in sight. My daughter is taking over from me it seems:And my son was able to play basketball in t-shirt!But when we did our famous 2h walk with my mum and daughter, I can't say it was as nice as last year:I even played with double exposure a bit...But if it hadn't been for that weather, I wouldn't have been able to take these pictures:So it was all kinds of worth it, don't you think? What do you vote for : can I call it winter or was it already Spring? Let me know what you think and if it's mainly already Spring, I'll have to go back in the winter then!
